Our Story
Built so Durgapur does not have to travel for care
Nova City Hospital was set up in Bidhannagar, Durgapur, to close a gap that families in this part of West Bengal know well: for anything beyond a routine consultation — a laparoscopic procedure, a kidney stone, a stay in intensive care — the journey usually meant Kolkata, and the cost and disruption that comes with it.
We built a hospital that keeps those services local. A modular operation theatre with a C-Arm and a full laparoscopic tower. A critical care unit staffed round the clock. Diagnostics, pathology and a pharmacy on the same campus, so a patient is not sent across town mid-treatment.
Nine consultants hold OPD here across anaesthesiology and critical care, general surgery, general medicine and urology — with DNB, MS, MD and MCh qualifications between them. The emergency department does not close.
